1. Who We Are
TrawellAdvisor is an independent travel brand operated by Kristina Zhuravel, based in Illinois, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through trawelladvisor.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions about it can go to trawelladvisor@gmail.com.
2. Information You Give Us
- Contact form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, trip type, destination, approximate budget, and the message you write.
- Email and phone conversations: anything you choose to share while we plan your trip.
- Booking details: when you book, the traveler information that suppliers require (for example full names as on passports, dates of birth, and contact details).
3. Information Collected Automatically
- Google Analytics: which pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region). It uses cookies. We use it to understand which pages help travelers and which do not.
- Microsoft Clarity: how visitors use our pages, such as clicks and scrolling, which we review as heatmaps and session replays. Text typed into form fields is masked and not recorded. Clarity uses cookies. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Google reCAPTCHA: our contact form is protected by reCAPTCHA to stop spam. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Server logs: our web server records standard technical information such as IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To reply to your inquiry and plan and book your trip.
- To send you a confirmation that your message arrived.
- To improve the website based on how visitors use it.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them.
5. Who We Share It With
- Travel suppliers and our host agency (such as resorts, cruise lines, airlines and tour operators), and only the details they need to make and manage your booking.
- Service providers that run the website: Resend (delivers contact form emails), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), Microsoft (Clarity), and DigitalOcean (hosting).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep inquiry and booking correspondence for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep reasonable business records. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
7. Your Choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing trawelladvisor@gmail.com. Details already given to a supplier for a booking are also covered by that supplier's own privacy policy.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Children's details needed for a family booking are provided by a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
